3rd Grade - Mrs. Kelly Pekala
Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Kelly Pekala and I am extremely excited to be your child's 3rd grade teacher this year! This is my 7th year teaching here at Saint Mark School. I started as the 8th grade teacher for 1 year, spent 5 years in kindergarten, and have finally made it to my dream grade, 3rd! I enjoy working with the children and families of the Saint Mark community! My goal is to not only teach my students the material they need to be successful but to also teach them to love learning! I graduated from Holy Family University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education and special education. I am also a product of Catholic Education and value my faith very much.
I am happily married to my husband Chris, and we have 3 children. CJ is 8, and attends 3rd grade here at Saint Mark. Avery is 5, and Mason is 3. We also have a puppy named Bailey! During my free time I love to spend time with my family outside and at the beach. I can't wait for another great year together!
